Our Mission Statement
The mission of the Southern Illinois District of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to encourage each woman in the district to grow spiritually and to use her God-given gifts to praise God and serve people.
About Us
Our district has seven zones, with approximately 104 local societies. Its territory is from the Ohio River to Litchfield, Illinois. We are one of the smaller zones in the LWML; however, we are also one of the most active. We grow spiritually through rallies, retreats, board meetings, zone gatherings, workshops, praise and thanksgiving events, and various other happenings.
